| I thought I could get back into xanga. It's just so hard. Facebook keeps the whole "connecting" things together, and since I realized how stupid I sounded with all my posts about depression last year, I don't really have anything to post aout. Except that I'm not as depressed as last year, which means that either way I have less to post about. And isn't that what blogging's about in the end--being depressed and having problems and getting people to tell you your life's worth living? Unless you post funny stuff, and then you're just in a league of your own. Anyway, back to Facebook! FRJP |

| Maybe Patrick's idea of Xanga Revival wasn't so bad at all. But man, I haven't xanga'd in so long, I've missed so many changes. It's odd. EDIT: So I've changed thangs up. Gone is the stale Season 2 LOST theme. New header; I am unafraid to acknowledge my love for (the music of) High School Musical. A nice neutral gray rests beneath nice shocking splashes of winey red. Profile pic from Facebook. I love it a lot. |

| I don't have time to update right now, with classes, Tuesdays with Morrie, Jane Eyre, and work...it's just too much. Ugh... Comment anyway. FRJP |

| You know that feeling--when you get home from work and you suddenly realize that there's crushed meat caked into the ridges on the bottom of your shoes and as you start to extract it your mind flashes over the entire day of slicing, not being allowed to joke, walking back and forth behind the deli case, headaches, obnoxious customers (yes, I said it), no revealed skin, and staying in one place too long. So thank you, caked-in crushed meats, for putting my last day of work before school starts into perspective.
Another bad feeling from work is the feeling of fatigue. All over your body. You think, "Should I just collapse to the floor--I'm tired." But then, you realize that you're getting paid to do this work and there's no solution but to let it run its course.
The ONLY good part about work is getting to know people. And the fact that even two days before school when everyone else is scrambling around doing school shopping and I'm wishing to see my scholastic friends, I'm making new ones. Yes, that's what everyone else wishes they were doing.

And feature lunches are now $2.15...up 5 cents from last year. I guess even with the government money that's eliminating any kind of worthwhile snack food/drink in our school, they still have to raise the price of meals. And make it even harder for me to find the correct change when I'm paying for a feature lunch with actual money and not my account.
Anyway...
